Virtual Reality

I completed Dynamoid's VR creator bootcamp in Oakland, CA, where I  constructed the immersive interactive educational VR experience "Trouble in Sunshine Creek" now available on the 10k science visualization platform for Metaquest. This experience teaches students about plant anatomy, insects and bacteria through free-exploration in a virtual vineyard. Please contact for a demo.

3D Imaging Infrastructure

I am trained to operate Nikon XTek and North Star Imaging micro-CT scanners (Harvard University, Vanderbilt University), and have extensive experience generating and processing 3D synchrotron-based imaging data from the Advanced Light Source, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory, as well as collecting in vivo 2D x-ray imaging data at the Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory.

3D Imaging Data Processing Software

I have logged thousands of hours using Dragonfly (visualizing and processing 3D imaging data), VGStudio MAX (visualizing and processing 3D imaging data), Avizo (visualizing and processing 3D imaging data), Meshlab (editing and cleaning digital 3D files),  and Autodesk Maya (3D visualization, modeling, and animation). I created and published my own workflow for generating high-resolution reconstructions of biological and paleontological specimens in 3D using Meshlab and Maya (Clark et al. 2023).
